A Committed Association Since 2008. Dedicated to children and disadvantaged populations in Morocco.
Solidarité Enfants des Sables is a non-profit organization under French law (Law 1901).
For over 15 years, we have been developing educational, sports, and social projects in Morocco.
Thanks to a sports center, inaugurated in 2019 in Ouarzazate, we provide a dedicated space for the children and women of the Isfoutalil and Tamassinte neighborhoods.
We offer a unique environment where children can grow, learn, and dream, and where women can discover reading and writing.

Creation of the association by Patrick Bauer, driven by the desire to extend the impact of the Marathon des Sables by providing sustainable support to the populations living in the regions crossed by the race.

Official authorization from the Rhône Tax Services Department to issue tax receipts allowing donors to benefit from tax deductions.

Construction begins on an eco-friendly sports center made of rammed earth, carefully designed to meet local needs.

The association operated under the name SMDS MAROC (Solidarité Marathon Des Sables) until this date. Following the end of the partnership with the new organizer of the Marathon des Sables, the association adopted its new name:
Solidarité Enfants des Sables, without changing its mission or objectives.
